Jakarta: The government projected defense budget for 2013 amounting to Rp 77 trillion, increased significantly compared to the year 2012 reached Rp 72.54 trillion. The President asked the Ministry of Defence to discuss this budget with the House, including the 2012 budget which is still marked with a star by the House.
"When we planned, the money is there, is needed immediately, to keep kedulatan and territorial integrity of the government would be pleased if the implementation is too smooth," said President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on other parts of his press conference after a coordination meeting at the TNI Headquarters, Cilangkap, Jakarta, Thursday (9/8) afternoon.

"This is a significant improvement and certainly needed," said President SBY. "Therefore I am advised that the best possible governance and plan well. If there are changes, do all that is needed and if there should be entered into any defense equipment and interconnection reliability operating system," Yudhoyono added.
Procurement, the President reminded, can be implemented with the correct procedures and mechanisms. "Prevent deviations because otherwise there would be a problem," Yudhoyono asserts.
"I see more and more professional military ranks in the planning and implementation is better, the more the system to run properly so that we can not have any problem with that was achieved today," head of state told.
