Jakarta: President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Tuesday (4/9) at 9:30 pm, received a courtesy (courtesy call) U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton at the Presidential Office. Meeting of the President and Secretary Clinton will discuss about bilateral issues, as well as global issues.
"Welcome," said President Yudhoyono welcomed Hillary Clinton on the front page of the Office of the President. After that, they immediately went inside to start the meeting.
Hillary Clinton arrived in Jakarta on Monday (3/9) afternoon and had a meeting with Indonesian Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa at the Foreign Office.
It seems to accompany the President, among others, Minister Djoko Suyanto, Foreign Minister Marty Rajasa, State Secretary Sudi Silalahi, Cabinet Secretary Sudi Silalahi, Education and Culture Minister M Nuh, Minister of Women Empowerment and Child Protection Linda Amalia Sari, and Trade Minister Gita Wirjawan.
Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton came accompanied by U.S. Ambassador to Indonesia Scott Marciel, U.S. Ambassador to ASEAN David Carden, Deputy Assistant Secretary, Bureau of East Asian The White House Joseph Yun, and Senior Director for Asian National Security Staff Dan Russell.
