President Inaugurates 16's New Ambassador











 


Jakarta: President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono inaugurated 16 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary that will represent Indonesia in friendly countries, at the State Palace on Monday (3/9) at 13:00 pm. Among these ambassadors are also Permanent Representative of Indonesia to the United Nations and other international organizations based in Geneva, Switzerland.
The appointment of the new ambassador-16 contained three Presidential Decree (Decree), respectively 75/P/2012 Presidential Decree, No. 77/P/2012, and No. 79/P/2012. The 16 names are:
1. Foster Gultom (untukRepublik Kazakhstan and Tajikistan)2. Harimawan Suyitno (Democratic Socialist of Sri Lanka, Maldives, Republic of)3. Trie Edi Mulyani (Republic of Colombia)4. Ronny Prasetuo Yuliantoro (Republic of Tunisia)5. Triyono Wibowo (Permanent Representative to the UN, WTO and other international organizations in Geneva)6. Marcellinus Primanto Hendrasmoro (Republic of Timor-Leste)7. Chilman Arisman (Kingdom of Bahrain)8. Rachmat Budiman (Republic of Austria, the Republic of Slovenia and the United Nations, UNIDO, UCITRAL, UNOV, CTBTO, IAEA, and OFID)9. August Parengkuan (Republic of Italy, Republic of Malta, the Republic of Cyprus, FAO, IFAD, WFP, UNHCS and UNIDROIT)10. Maj. Gen. (ret) Anshory Tadjudin (Islamic Republic of Afghanistan)11. Marshal (Ret.) Herman Prayitno (Malaysia)12. Benny Bahanadewa (Republic of Greece)13. John A Preasetio (Republic of Korea)14. Niniek Kun Naryatie (Republic of Ukraine, Armenia, Republic, and Georgia)15. Nadjib Riphat Kesoema (Australia, Vanuatu concurrently)16. Wajid Fauzi (Republic of Yemen)
"That I am to do or not do something in this position, no not ever received from any person, directly or indirectly, any promise or gift," the oath of the ambassadors are, mimicking the president.
After taking the oath, the President sign the oath-taking and then congratulated the ambassador. Also present pelantikkan witnessed, among others, Coordinating Minister Djoko Suyanto, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Hatta Rajasa, Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa, Minister of Industry MS Hidayat and Trade Minister Gita Wiryawan.
