Jakarta: The project of 10 thousand MW electricity supply has been only realized 64 percent or amount to 6338 MW. Delay, among others, due to investors who did not keep time. President asked for the delay achievement should not happen again and be a lesson for the second project of 10 thousand MW.
"Frankly this is not all in accordance with the target, until the year 6338 reached a new 2012 MW or 64 per cent, while the remainder will be completed in 2013 and 2014," said President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in a press statement after the meeting of the coordination of energy and mineral resources, at the Head Office of PT Pertamina, Jakarta, Tuesday (7/8) afternoon.
President SBY asked kertelambatan first project which will serve as a lesson, but the President also requested that such delays do not occur again. "The first experience, promising investors a lot of things were also not able to keep time. We must be more careful but quick in making decisions so that flow," SBY confirmed.
The Government, he added, would continue the provision of 10 thousand MW project without waiting until the first project is completed. "We immediately one after another to project the next 10 thousand MW anymore," Yudhoyono added. "It will be more use of new and renewable energy," SBY explained.
Distribution of electric power generation of 10 thousand MW project includes Sumatra (approximately 3 thousand MW), the Java-Bali (4 thousand MW more), and the rest to Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Papua.
